The Kentucky Wildcats finally dropped another one this season in a familiar place, losing to the Tennessee Volunteers in Neyland.

Despite that, the Cats still have a solid playoff resume as they head into the final three games of the season. With some tough games coming up against Florida, Missouri, and Louisville, Will Stein’s squad is going to have to win out to guarantee a playoff spot.

That very well could happen, but the margin for error has shrunk if you want to play meaningful postseason football.

After Saturday’s games, here is where a few media members have the Cats ranked heading into week ten of the season:

CBS Sports’ Chip Patterson has Kentucky at No. 13.

James Parks of SI also has the Cats falling to No. 13.

Matthew Glenesk of USA Today has the Cats dropping to No. 8.

I get a feeling it will be a slide down to around the No. 13 mark in the AP poll, and down to No. 10 in the CFP rankings on Tuesday night.

We will be updating this post as more rankings come out today.
