Kenny’s South Park Replacement Officially Unveiled After Season 29's Shocking Twist

· · 1 min read

Even though Comedy Central’s long-running animated comedy may have a new name, fashioning itself into South America for season 29, old habits die hard. Kenny dies in the show’s premiere episode, continuing a long run of demises for a distinctive character that always seems to find his way back.

This reset seems to be taking a little longer. Randy Marsh, Stan’s father, like just about everyone around him, becomes obsessed with what’s referred to as looksmaxxing. And in a riff on Kane Parsons’ breakout horror hit Backrooms, Ryan regresses into an eight-year-old.

The newest episode preview highlights the next chapter for South America, particularly focusing on how this new version of Randy fits in with the group. It seems to be a mixed bag at just a glance, with Cartman looking a little confused to be sitting next to Stan’s dad, as the photo below reveals.

The image comes from the episode “Guinea Pig On A Stick”, which begins as South America’s beef becomes highly prized and sought after, with the four boys fighting to keep it in local hands. New episodes premiere on Wednesdays, with the next installments set for November 11 and November 25 at 10 PM ET on Comedy Central. It will also be available to stream on Paramount+ the next day in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
