Juventus signed Neto as a free agent a few weeks ago on a deal running until the end of the season, and he could make his debut for the club in the Europa League this week. However, he is not expected to provide a long-term answer to the club’s goalkeeping situation.
The Bianconeri reportedly want a permanent solution in the summer. Although Juventus are interested in signing Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker as a free agent, there is no guarantee that a deal will be possible.
Juventus consider another Brazilian goalkeeper
With uncertainty surrounding the pursuit of Alisson, Juventus have reportedly identified another target in Brazil. According to Calciomercato, the Bianconeri is interested in Pedro Morisco, who plays for Coritiba and has impressed in the Brazilian top flight.
Morisco is regarded as one of the promising goalkeepers in Brazil at present. His performances have attracted attention, and Juventus are considering whether he could be a suitable option for their plans in goal.
The reported interest suggests the club are assessing alternatives rather than relying on one potential signing. Alisson remains a possible target, but the Bianconeri appear keen to keep their options open ahead of the summer transfer window.
Morisco could be heading to Europe
Morisco has also attracted attention at international level. The 22-year-old reportedly became a favourite of Carlo Ancelotti, who handed him his debut for the national team this year. That recognition has added to the interest surrounding the Coritiba goalkeeper and his future.
A move away from Brazil is expected sooner rather than later, and Juventus reportedly want to bring him to Europe at the end of the season. Juve could offer Morisco an opportunity to continue his career at a major European side.
The goalkeeper may also be open to such a move, although no agreement is guaranteed. Juventus still need to decide which option best suits their needs, and their plans could depend on the availability of their targets.
