Juventus is not ready to meet Arsenal’s asking price for struggling star

· · 2 min read

Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Viktor Gyokeres, who could leave Arsenal if the club receive a suitable offer. The Swedish striker has struggled to meet expectations since arriving in North London, raising questions about his long-term future.

This is Gyokeres’ second season at Arsenal, but his performances have reportedly fallen short of what the club anticipated when they signed him. Despite his impressive goalscoring record in Portugal, he has found the Premier League more challenging than expected.

Juventus consider a move for Gyokeres

Arsenal could consider selling the striker if an acceptable offer arrives, while Juventus are searching for a reliable goalscorer to strengthen their attack. The Bianconeri believe Gyokeres could rediscover his best form in a different environment.

Juventus already have Randal Kolo Muani as an attacking option, but they want a striker capable of delivering goals consistently. Gyokeres’ previous performances in Portugal have made him an interesting candidate, although his struggles in England remain a concern.

Juve have reportedly been monitoring his situation as they assess potential targets. However, the financial demands involved could prevent them from pursuing the transfer further.

Arsenal’s asking price creates an obstacle

According to Tuttojuve, a move to Juventus appears unlikely because Arsenal want approximately 60 million euros for Gyokeres. The Bianconeri do not believe the striker is worth that amount and would consider approaching Arsenal only if their asking price fell significantly.

That difference in valuation represents a major obstacle to negotiations. Unless Arsenal become willing to reduce their demands, Juventus are unlikely to make a serious attempt to sign the Swedish international.

The situation could force Juventus to redirect their attention towards alternative targets in the transfer market. The club must consider players who fit both their financial expectations and their need for greater attacking output.

For Arsenal, any potential departure will depend on receiving an offer that meets their requirements. Although Gyokeres has yet to deliver the impact expected of him, the club’s valuation could determine whether Juventus or another interested side makes a formal approach.
