The Jigawa State College of Nursing Sciences has officially announced the commencement of the Post-UTME screening registration for admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing Programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The screening applies to all three campuses of the institution: Birnin Kudu, Hadejia, and Babura.
Prospective applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify for the screening exercise:
UTME Score & Subject Combination: Candidates must have scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME. The required UTME subject combination is English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics only.
JAMB Choice: Candidates must have selected any of the college campuses (Birnin Kudu, Hadejia, or Babura) as their First Choice in JAMB.
Age Limit: Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
Academic Qualifications: Candidates must possess at least five ‘O’ level credit passes at not more than two sittings. The required subjects include English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
Result Combination Rules: Only WAEC & WAEC, NECO & NECO, WAEC & NECO, or NABTEB & NABTEB combinations are acceptable.
Awaiting Results: Candidates with awaiting results should indicate “AR” during application but must provide the required credits before final admission.
