Jeremy Doku signs new Man City contract

Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku has committed his future to the club by signing a new five-year contract, keeping him at the Etihad until 2031.

The Belgium international has become one of City’s most exciting attacking players since arriving from Rennes in 2023, and his new deal represents another important piece of business for new manager Enzo Maresca.

Doku made 47 appearances last season, scoring eight goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions. He has now made 131 appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals and registering 29 assists, while helping City win the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Club World Cup.

Doku was also part of Belgium‘s World Cup campaign this summer, featuring as they reached the quarter-finals.

The winger’s previous contract was due to expire in 2028, but City have moved quickly to secure his services for the long term. He follows Phil Foden, Josko Gvardiol and Abdukodir Khusanov in signing fresh deals this summer.
