NPFL: Abdallah blames poor officiating for Ranchers Bees’ draw against Rivers United

Ranchers Bees technical adviser, Usman Abdallah has blamed poor officiating for his team’s draw against Rivers United.

The Bees were held to a goalless draw by Rivers United in a Matchday Six fixture at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano on Monday.

Abdallah believed that his players were denied penalties twice during the game.

He, however, expressed satisfaction with the point shared in the encounter.

“We lost the two points. We only have one point, and it’s better than nothing,” Abdallah told the club’s media.

“Our players played well, and it’s a learning experience for us in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL. It’s understandable because sometimes it’s beyond football, as we were denied two clear penalties.

“The referee was totally biased. I don’t want to talk about officiating, as the deed has been done. If you punish the referee, the point has been shared.”
