Jeremiyah Love injury update: Arizona Cardinals RB limited Wednesday
At the start of the week, Arizona Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur expressed optimism that rookie running back Jeremiyah Love would be able to play in their season opener on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. Now, after Wednesday’s practice, things look even more positive.
LaFleur said before practice that Love would be “ready to roll” and that on the coaches’ end, “there’s no limit.”
When the official injury report was released, Love was listed as a limited participant, but it means he did practice.
LaFleur again said, “we feel good” when referring Love’s chances of playing against the Chargers, but “the plan is to see how he looks today to see where we’re going to go on Sunday.”
Love has been out with an ankle injury he suffered in the first half of their 27-14 preseason win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Aug. 13.
