“Jason Whitlock trying to break news for the first time in his life. This should age well,” Goodman tweeted.
The jab was aimed at Whitlock’s suggestion that Clark could end up with the Sparks, a claim that has not been backed by confirmed reporting from the Fever or any major WNBA decision-maker.
That is what made the criticism easy to understand. Clark is the face of Indiana’s franchise, and the idea of trading her would be so massive that it would need far stronger evidence than social media chatter.
