Eli Stowers is listed as questionable for Monday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys as the rookie tight end works toward his first regular-season appearance. Stowers fully participated throughout the practice week despite a quadriceps injury. The Eagles kept him on the injury report Saturday, leaving his potential debut uncertain.
Philadelphia opened Stowers’ practice window earlier this month after placing him on injured reserve before the season. He would need to be activated before he could play if he remains on reserve.
The Eagles selected Stowers with the No. 54 overall pick after a productive final season at Vanderbilt. He caught 62 passes for 769 yards and four touchdowns in 2025, after catching 49 for 638 yards and five scores the previous season. His potential availability would add another receiving option with DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks ruled out. However, returning from injury doesn’t indicate how big a role Stowers would immediately take on.
Dallas Goedert has no game designation, while Grant Calcaterra is listed as questionable with a back injury.
An activation announcement and Monday’s inactive list will determine whether Stowers is available to make his debut against Dallas.
