Is Cam Skattebo playing today? Giants injury update for Week 9

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo was listed as a limited practice participant Friday after logging limited sessions the previous two days, but that didn’t add any optimism around his ability to play in Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Skattebo is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury, and as of this morning, nothing has changed on that front. In fact, all reports in the week leading up to today have suggested Skattebo won’t go.

Any fantasy managers who haven’t already found a backup option, should do that right away. Skattebo should be removed from all lineups.

Who is Cam Skattebo’s backup

Devin Singletary will be elevated to the Giants’ RB1 with Skattebo out and Tyrone Tracy Jr. on injured reserve. He has a good matchup versus the Eagles and isn’t a bad option to slot into lineups.
