No. 14 LSU Tigers turned Saturday’s showdown with No. 5 Alabama Crimson Tide into more than just a football game. Head coach Lane Kiffin led the Tigers down Victory Hill, the program’s traditional pregame walk into Tiger Stadium, with an unusually star-studded group by his side.
Among those joining the procession were Shaquille O’Neal, Paul Skenes and Kevin Costner, all tied to LSU in some way. Two other former Tigers stars turned the walk into one of the week’s biggest talking points on social media.

Video of the walk showed Angel Reese and Livvy Dunne among the group marching into Death Valley, a reunion between two of LSU’s most recognizable former athletes.
“Angel Reese. Shaq. Paul Skenes. Kevin Costner. Lane Kiffin brought out the Avengers for the Tiger Walk,” one viral post read.

Dunne also shared a separate moment from the day, posting video of herself with Kiffin’s daughter, Landry, before kickoff.

Why fans couldn’t stop talking about the LSU reunion
Reactions poured in across social media, with one fan writing, “Angel Reese and Shaq in the same lineup is already a moment, then you add Kevin Costner and Paul Skenes.” Another called the scene a “star-studded spectacle.”
A separate clip from the sideline added to the buzz, showingO’Neal jokingly flashing Reese’s own “too small” hand gesture back at her, drawing laughs from those nearby.
No. 5 Alabama went on to beat No. 14 LSU 31-13, but for much of the internet, the pregame moment overshadowed the result.
