Iowa football Week 4 bowl projections: Where are the Hawkeyes headed?

As No. 17 Iowa (3-0) enters its Big Ten opener this Saturday against No. 18 Michigan (3-0) at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, which bowl game do college football media outlets currently project the Hawkeyes to play in this year?

Heading into Week 4, Iowa has sorted out its starting quarterback situation with Hank Brown officially securing the job. Iowa ran for 422 yards against Northern Iowa as the Hawkeyes registered six rushing touchdowns.

But, what makes the 2026-27 Hawkeyes squad unique is that they’re finding success not only on the ground, but through the air. Transfer wide receiver Tony Diaz leads the way with 17 receptions for 201 yards and one touchdown. The 5-foot-10, 184-pound receiver is morphing into a star.
