India vs. Pakistan weather forecast: Chances of rain, average temperature for Asian Games 2026 final

A blockbuster India vs. Pakistan encounter awaits us in the Asian Games final match in Nisshin on Saturday morning.

India will be aiming to defend the men’s cricket title they won previously, while Pakistan will be appearing in a men’s cricket final at the Asian Games for the first time.

India reached the title decider with an emphatic 124-run victory over Sri Lanka in the semifinal. After being asked to bat, Shreyas Iyer’s team made 169/7 in 20 overs, and the bowlers then dismissed Sri Lanka for only 45, with Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel and Abhishek Sharma taking two wickets each.

Pakistan, by contrast, were involved in a rain-affected semifinal against Bangladesh, which they won by six wickets. Rain has therefore already played a part in this tournament, and attention has turned once again to the conditions in Nisshin.

Chances of rain interrupting play in Nisshin

The early part of the day looks reasonably safe, since the chance of rain stays below 25 per cent from 7:30 AM until 11:30 PM, which should allow the first innings to proceed without much disturbance.

The picture changes later in the afternoon, however, as the probability jumps to about 51 per cent and remains high at around 47 per cent an hour later. Should the match run into that period, it would bring the reduced-overs calculations into play, as they did in Pakistan’s semifinal.
