However, India’s team balance looked fragile with his inclusion, especially on a flat pitch with very little juice for bowlers. India have gone with four specialist bowlers: Nitish Kumar Reddy, Gurnoor Brar, Kuldeep Yadav, and Prasidh Krishna.

A gamble that hinges entirely on execution
There’s a fair argument on both sides here, but the concern about bowling depth isn’t unreasonable. West Indies have great firepower up top, and four frontline bowlers plus part-time overs can get exposed on flat surfaces, especially across fifty overs rather than twenty.
