Endrick’s performances on loan in the Ligue 1 were sufficient to earn the player a call-back to Real Madrid – one that several fans had as a non-negotiable ahead of next season.

After all, the youngster arrived at the club as the next big thing in world football and one of the best young strikers on the planet.

A slow start and lack of confidence from the manager saw the first half of his season marred with inconsistent minutes and performances, and he left on loan days before Xabi Alonso was shown the door. Regardless, however, he was always a loved figure within the dressing room.

Rivals for a month

While Endrick and Bellingham may share a special bond, they will be rivals when they face off later this month in the FIFA World Cup.

While Endrick has been included on Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for France, Bellingham is expected to be a starter for Thomas Tuchel’s England side. Trent, however, has shockingly missed out on a spot in the team.

With the Brazilian all set to return to Madrid next season, however, they will share the dressing room once more in under two months, albeit with a new manager at the helm.
