How to register your child for the Nigeria Spelling Bee Competition

Scholarships and other prizes
The competition offers several rewards for outstanding contestants across different categories.

The overall winner in the Senior category will receive a ₦1 million scholarship, while the Junior category champion will be awarded a ₦500,000 scholarship.

In the Primary category, the overall winner will receive ₦150,000 in cash.

Beyond the monetary rewards, finalists will earn the opportunity to represent Nigeria at the African Spelling Bee, while national champions will be recognised as Nigeria Spelling Bee Ambassadors for Life and presented with trophies and medals.
Opportunity for schools
Schools interested in hosting stages of the competition can also apply to serve as host venues.

In addition, schools registering more than ten contestants are encouraged to contact the organisers to access available discounts for bulk registrations.

The organisers reminded applicants that registration must be completed online before participants can receive their Speller IDs and other competition materials. They also emphasised that registration fees are non-refundable once payment has been made.
