Basic Requirements For Full Admission
Candidates need five O’Level credit passes in the required subjects for their chosen course. English Language and Mathematics must be among the credits.
GOUNI also gave different JAMB score marks for some programmes. Candidates should check the score for their course before applying; this saves time and helps avoid a wrong choice.

Candidates who did not pick Godfrey Okoye University as first choice should change their first-choice university to GOUNI. The JAMB Admission Letter completes the admission process.
Admission Modes
Candidates can apply through UTME with the required JAMB score.
Direct Entry candidates can also apply with a current JAMB Direct Entry form. Both groups should use the official online application route.
How GOUNI Handles Admission
Applicants should fill the form online and use an active email address.
After submission, the university will send a reply to the candidate’s email within three working days to state whether admission has been offered. This reply matters, especially for candidates applying for Nursing, Medicine and Surgery, or Law.
Payment Notice For Candidates
Candidates applying for Nursing, Medicine and Surgery, and Law should not pay tuition until the University Admissions Officer sends an email advising them to do so. Other faculties can begin fee payment after receiving an admission offer, including acceptance fee, tuition, ICT and other stated fees.
