The Dallas Cowboys entered this season fully embracing Super Bowl aspirations.
Things have not gone smoothly, to say the least.
After allowing the Arizona Cardinals to once again come into Jerry World and eke out a victory, America’s Team is now 3-5. This puts them considerably behind the sticks, even in the middling NFC East. Things will need to change for them to get back into the playoff chase. Even more will have to change for Dallas to believe that it can hang with other Super Bowl contenders come January.

Jerry Jones has already given first-year coach Brian Schottenheimer the dreaded vote of confidence.
Certainly not how a franchise with high hopes envisioned the first half of the season going. On the bright side, the stumbles are creating great content for everyone else to enjoy.

The guy is scooting. And to be clear, good for him. One, since when is it bad to hustle? Anything worth doing is worth doing well, including sprinting to the locker room after a tough loss. Two, lots of these stadium screens have a bit of a delay on them so there’s no way to line up the timelines exactly.
Despite all that has gone wrong—and a porous defense—the Cowboys are still within striking distance of the New York Giants. Whichever team earns a playoff spot from this division may not even have a .500 record. So there are some silver linings.
Even though this video is a nice summation of how things have gone so far.
