GAME THREAD: Washington State takes on Washington in the Apple Cup

The Washington State Cougars are getting ready to kickoff their 2026 football season and the Kirby Moore era with a week 1 rivalry game against the Washington Huskies.

WSU opens with their third new head coach in three years, with Moore arriving at WSU after being the offensive coordinator at Missouri. The Cougs will also be led by transfer quarterback Caden Pinnick.

The last time these two rivals squared off in Seattle, the Cougars emerged victorious 24-19 after a goalline stand to seal the game.

Kickoff is set for 1pm at Husky Stadium and will be broadcasted nationally on NBC and Peacock.
