FUTO notice on mid-semester break

The Management of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) wishes to inform all students that a two-week Mid-Semester Break has been approved with effect from Sunday, 31st May, 2026, to enable the University undertake fumigation and renovation works in students’ hostels and other designated areas of the campus.

Accordingly, all students residing in the hostels are hereby directed to vacate the hostels within 24 hours and ensure that their personal belongings are properly secured before departure.

Academic activities shall resume on Monday June 15, 2026 when students are expected to continue with their studies.
