UTME Candidates: Must have scored a minimum of 180 in the 2026 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: Must have chosen the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) as their First Choice Institution.
Academic Qualifications: Candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two (2) sittings in O’ level examinations conducted by WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB or their equivalent.
Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years of age by 30th September, 2026 to be considered for admission.
Important Notice: Admissions into the MBBS programme, which was earlier suspended, has been reinstated. Interested and qualified candidates are now eligible to apply.

Complete and submit the University Post-UTME Application Form ONLINE.
Print out a copy of the completed Registration Form.
Completing the Registration Form is mandatory for all eligible candidates participating in the screening exercise.
Candidates must ensure their UTME Registration Number and Full Name (exactly as it appears on the JAMB slip) are provided correctly at the point of payment and registration.
After making the payment, candidates must visit the University website to complete the online Registration Form.
The screening fee is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only.
Payment is payable at any Bank via the Remita platform after generating the necessary payment code.
Registration Window: Monday, 1st June 2026 to Friday, 3rd July 2026. Candidates who fail to register within this stipulated period will not be eligible for the screening.
JAMB CAPS Upload: Candidates must ensure their O’ level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS on or before Friday, 3rd July, 2026. Failure to do so will render the affected candidates ineligible for admission.
Mandatory Participation: Any candidate who does not participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission into the University.
