According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, former Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Trevon Diggs is reportedly signing a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks.
With the signing, Diggs will become the latest Alabama player to join the Seahawks, a list which features the likes of Jarran Reed, Josh Jobe, and Jalen Milroe, among others.
A six-year NFL veteran, Diggs was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft out of Alabama by the Dallas Cowboys, and went on to make two Pro Bowl appearances with the organization prior to being waived a year ago. Last season, Diggs saw action in eight games with Dallas, and later went on to play a game with the Green Bay Packers, ending the year with 27 total tackles.
Across his six seasons in the league, Diggs has amassed a combined 242 tackles and 20 interceptions. Diggs is also a one-time First Team All-Pro selection, doing so during his stellar 2021 season in Dallas where he led the NFL with 11 interceptions.
The Seahawks are one of the NFL’s top teams entering the 2026 season. Seattle went 14-3 a year ago, winning the Super Bowl.
