Florida State football lands four-star running back Jayden Miles

Florida State football continued to build momentum in its florida-state/Season/2027-Football/Commits/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">2027 recruiting class Monday, landing a verbal commitment from four-star running back miles-46149466/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Jayden Miles of Baton Rouge (Louisiana) Catholic.

Miles committed less than two weeks after taking an official visit to Tallahassee. Florida State was the first program to offer him a scholarship in 2024.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect chose the Seminoles over several Power Four programs, including Ohio State, Texas Tech and LSU, along with multiple SEC schools.

With help from running backs coach Kam Martin and offensive assistant Gabe Fertitta, coach Mike Norvell added another blue-chip prospect to FSU’s 2027 class.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Miles is the No. 15 running back nationally and the No. 11 overall prospect in Louisiana.

Florida State has now secured commitments on back-to-back days. On Sunday, the Seminoles landed three-star linebacker Jernard Albright from Effingham County High School in Georgia.
