Atlanta Falcons general manager Ian Cunningham may have been limited by a lack of resources, but he got some important work done in his first offseason running an NFL franchise. Cunningham, along with Falcons president of football Matt Ryan, got extensions done with both Drake London and Kyle Pitts.
By signing the extension, London’s 2026 cap hit dropped from $16,817,000 to $7,996,200. Meanwhile, Pitts’ cap number was lowered from $15,045,000 to $4,622,000 this season.
Atlanta now has approximately $37.9 million in salary cap space available for the 2026 campaign, according to Over the Cap. Next year, the team is projected to have roughly $102 million available going into free agency.
Here’s an updated list of the Falcons’ 10 highest salary cap hits on offense in 2026. As you’ll notice below (*), Pitts now sits just outside of the top 10.

Tight end Charlie Woerner, guard Matthew Bergeron and offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor round out the team’s 10 highest-paid offensive players this season. Pitts now sits at No. 11, and is ranked No. 16 in terms of the entire roster.
Bergeron is arguably the biggest bargain on this list. The former second-round pick has become one of the better left guards in the game. He will be a free agent next season and should be among the team’s top priorities now that London and Pitts have been re-signed.
