Former New York Giants right guard Greg Van Roten is searching for a new NFL home this summer.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that Van Roten is scheduled to visit the New England Patriots on Thursday.
Free agent OG Greg Van Roten is visiting the New England Patriots today, per source.
Van Roten, 36, didn’t miss an offensive snap the last two seasons with the Giants.

Van Roten started at right guard for the Giants in 2024 and 2025, appearing in all 17 games both seasons. He allowed 3.0 sacks and 26 total pressures last year in New York.
The 36-year-old hit free agency last winter after the Giants chose not to re-sign him. New York selected offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft to fill the right guard spot next season.
If Van Roten signs with the Patriots or another team, 2026 will mark his seventh NFL stop.
