ESPN tabs Indiana basketball legend for 'College GameDay' guest picker ahead of IU football game

Indiana basketball legend Isiah Thomas will predict college football games as the guest picker on ESPN’s “College GameDay” on Saturday.

Thomas led the Hoosiers to the 1981 national championship as a first-team All-American for coach Bob Knight. Thomas played two years at IU before becoming the second overall NBA Draft pick for the Detroit Pistons, where he won two titles (1989, ’90) on the way to enshrinement in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

The show will be at Showalter Fountain in the heart of the IU campus. Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and Kirk Herbstreit will analyze games, pick winners for the day’s biggest matchups, and a lot more.

Indiana football (7-1, 4-1 Big Ten) plays Minnesota (5-2, 3-1) at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
