EPL: ‘He’s perfect’ – Michael Owen picks Mohamed Salah’s replacement at Liverpool

Former Liverpool striker, Michael Owen, has picked West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen as the ‘perfect replacement’ for Mohamed Salah at the Reds.

Salah is leaving Liverpool after their final Premier League 1-1 draw against Brentford on Sunday.

However, when asked if Bowen will stay at West Ham for their Championship season after the Hammers were relegated, Owen told Premier League Productions: “Under normal circumstances, no.

“However, Jarrod Bowen is incredible; you’ve got a short career; I mean, he has to be playing in the Premier League.

“If something really, really interesting , I have said for a long time, I don’t make any apologies, Mo Salah has gone now from Liverpool, I think Bowen is the absolute perfect replacement for Mo Salah at Liverpool.”
