EPL: He'll give you problem - Steven Gerrard warns Alonso about Chelsea star

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has warned Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso that Estevao will give him a problem at Stamford Bridge.

The former England midfielder believes the Brazilian international could become a selection problem for the Spaniard when Joao Pedro returns from injury in the coming days.

This is coming after Alonso gave Estevao his first Premier League start of the season against Manchester United last weekend.

Estevao put in an outstanding performance at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea won 2-0 against the Red Devils.

“He is exciting and great to watch,” Gerrard said about Estevao on The Overlap.

“He is desperate to impress the manager. And he is going to give Xabi Alonso a problem when Joao Pedro comes back, because Pedro Neto is a great player as well.”
