Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has predicted the outcome of today’s Premier League match between Manchester United and Aston Villa.
Shearer also predicted Sunderland’s home match against Chelsea at the Stadium of Light.
Speaking to Metro UK ahead of the fixtures, the former England international insisted that Man United will play a draw against Aston Villa at Old Trafford, while Chelsea will beat Sunderland.
“Sunderland are in Europe again, and Chelsea aren’t. But Chelsea beat Man United last weekend. So, with all that, I am going to go for a Chelsea away win,” Shearer said.
“Manchester United vs Aston Villa. I think this one could be a draw actually,” he added.
The kick-off time for Sunderland vs Chelsea is 3 pm, while that of Manchester United vs Aston Villa is 5.30 pm.
