Real Madrid will face off against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico this Wednesday as they look to secure all three points on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to earn a narrow 1-0 win over Villarreal recently, so they would be eager to keep their good form going in midweek.

Jose Mourinho will set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first-team for this game. Denzel Dumfries, Bernardo Silva and Vinicius Jr. could all play from the start of this contest.

4-2-3-1 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Roma

Defence

Thibaut Courtois will feature in between the sticks for the Madrid giants after conceding one goal in his last outing. Antonio Rudiger will continue to operate alongside Ibrahima Konate at the heart of Mourinho’s defence as they look to keep a good shape when defending inside their half.

Denzel Dumfries will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Alvaro Carreras looks to prove his worth on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Marc Cucurella will offer cover for the full-back positions on the bench.

Midfield

Bernardo Silva and Federico Valverde will anchor the midfield for Los Blancos as they look to establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park and engineer some decent chances in the final third.

The talented trio of Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler will operate just ahead of them as part of the Real Madrid attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Madrid giants are to earn a convincing win this Wednesday night.

Eduardo Camavinga and Brahim Diaz will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Kylian Mbappe will spearhead Mourinho’s attack up top. He has to find a way to be a real threat in the final third after failing to score against Villarreal last weekend.

Endrick and Carlos Espi will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if required.
