Disney+’s 10/10 Fantasy Miniseries With Zero Bad Episodes Officially Takes Over Streaming

Spanning nine episodes, the masterpiece centers on an unfortunate witch who, after three years trapped under a magical spell, escapes with the help of a mysterious teenager who wants to face the legendary witches’ trials. Now without her magical powers, the freed witch and her teenage savior form a new coven to face the trials while contending with old enemies and seeking to regain her powers.

Released on Disney+ on September 18, 2024, the dark fantasy comedy received rave reviews from fans and critics alike. On Rotten Tomatoes, it holds a Certified Fresh 84% critics’ rating and an 82% audience score, with the commentary praising the ensemble cast’s performances, plot twists, character development, and portrayal of queer themes. It also earned major award nominations and was a viewership success, attracting 9.3 million views globally in its first seven days of streaming and surging to globally on Disney during that period.

Two years after its premiere, Agatha All Along is back on streaming charts, finding new life once again. The hit series has ranked among the ten most-watched shows on Disney globally over the past week, including in the United States. Such a comeback may not be surprising, given the recent release of VisionQuest. As the latest MCU series, VisionQuest is a spin-off of WandaVision similar to Agatha All Along and has held the spot on Disney+ since its premiere.

You want the friend who does not leave. Steve is the one who
turns up at the door without being asked, who remembers what you said you were worried

• Nobody in the MCU is better at the small stuff, from remembering the thing you were
  nervous about to showing up with food you did not ask for.
• Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrived in July 2026 and put him back where he works best,
  which is broke, local and carrying the weight on his own.
• You would get a friend who is sincerely, embarrassingly happy for you when something
  goes right, with no edge to it at all.

You want the friend who insults your shoes, fixes your phone and
then quietly rearranges your entire life for the better. Shuri does not do soft reassurance,
and that is the reason you would believe her when she says you are fine.

• She is the smartest person in almost any room she walks into and treats that as a reason
  to tease you rather than a reason to lecture you.
• The teasing is the affection. When Shuri stops making fun of you, something has gone
  seriously wrong and you should probably ask her about it.
• Her story is the one on this list that goes somewhere genuinely dark, which is what
  turned her from a scene stealer into the emotional centre of the films.
• You would get a friend who never pities you, never softens the truth, and never once
  lets you take yourself too seriously.

Set after the events of WandaVision, Agatha All Along is the second entry in a trilogy that began with the Wanda Maximoff series and is now followed by VisionQuest. It takes place in Westview, New Jersey, with Kathryn Hahn reprising her role as Agatha Harkness from WandaVision. Also starring are Joe Locke, Debra Jo Rupp, Aubrey Plaza, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Okwui Okpokwasili, Patti LuPone, and Evan Peters.

There are currently no plans for Agatha All Along Season 2, as the show was not conceived as an ongoing multi-season show. Brad Winderbaum, the head of streaming, television, and animation at Marvel, when asked about the future months after the series finale, said Season 2 “for sure is something that we would want to do, but let’s not rush it. Let’s get the right idea and then make it.”
