The Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board has opened registration for the 2025/2026 Students Special Assistance Scheme (SSAS) Bursary Award Programme.
The scheme covers eligible students of Delta State origin who study full-time in approved universities, polytechnics, monotechnics, and colleges of education across Nigeria.
Registration Date for Delta State Bursary
Online registration starts on Monday, 11 May 2026.
The portal closes on Wednesday, 10 June 2026; applicants should complete the form, upload the required documents, and print their acknowledgement slip before the closing date.

Applicants must enter correct personal and school details during registration.
Wrong or incomplete details may affect the application.

The Board expects each applicant to complete the online process and follow the stated steps.

Who Can Apply for Delta State Bursary 2025/2026
The bursary is for students who meet the Board’s stated conditions.
- Be of Delta State origin
- Have a valid National Identification Number
- Study full-time in an approved tertiary school
- Have a minimum CGPA of 2.20
- Meet the approved academic level rule
The Board also set level-based rules for each school type.
Approved Academic Levels
University students must be in 200 Level or above.
Polytechnic and monotechnic students must be in ND II or HND II, while college of education students must be in NCE II or NCE III.
Students Who Cannot Apply
Postgraduate students cannot apply for the Delta State Bursary 2025/2026.
This means PGD, Master’s, and PhD students do not qualify for the programme.
