DC just completed an awesome set of dedicated character portraits for a range of iconic Green Lantern characters, showcasing the stars of the multi-colored Corps that make up the franchise’s core lore.
In 2005, DC’s Rebirth era introduced the Emotional Spectrum – a massive power source made up of different emotions and their respective colors. While Green Lanterns have always wielded the power of will, this twist introduced new Corps and recontextualized former villains as part of this expanded mythos.
The Emotional Spectrum has come to define Green Lantern‘s modern lore, especially because some of the franchise’s best characters emerged from this revelation.
Jorge Fornés Delivers Awesome Art of Iconic Green Lantern Characters

Now, those characters star in an awesome series of variant covers from Jorge Fornés (Batman, Danger Street.) Published over the last few months on the covers of Green Lantern Corps –#21, the images show each Lantern in a characteristic pose, alongside the emotion from which they draw their power.
These covers have made recent issues a must-buy for hardcore Green Lantern fans, essentially combining into a gigantic art piece celebrating the franchise’s breakout modern characters, several of who have helmed their own spin-off titles. The characters selected for Forné’ covers are below:
