Davenport Northwest's Little World Series game postponed to Friday

The Davenport Northwest Little League team will have to wait a little longer to take the field in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

The Iowa team’s Little League World Series matchup scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 20 was postponed to Friday, Aug. 21 due to prolonged inclement weather in Williamsport.

Friday’s game is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT.

The all-star squad from Davenport represents the Midwest and is scheduled to play Sweetwater Valley of Bonita, California, the West Region champion.
