The South African rider (and brother of MotoGP racer Brad Binder) will pair with incumbent Cameron Beaubier in what shapes up as one of the strongest lineups on the grid.

Binder came stateside after 11 seasons in the MotoGP paddock, and he wasted no time becoming the class of the Supersport field. Riding the Celtic/Economy Lube + Tire/Warhorse Ducati Panigale V2, Binder racked up 11 wins and 16 podiums. He sealed the title with a round to spare, sweeping both races at Circuit of The Americas.

Now comes the jump to the top class, and Binder is candid about the learning curve ahead.

“I just want to say a huge thank you to Warhorse for giving me the opportunity to step up onto the Panigale V4 R. I’m really looking forward to it,” Binder said. “I’ve never raced a superbike before, so it’ll be new to me, but I’m excited for the challenge and looking forward to seeing what the team can do.”

On the other side of the garage is Beaubier, who is coming off a bruising 2026 after winning his sixth title in 2025. Beaubier left Tytler’s Cycle Racing BMW M 1000 RR for Ducati’s heavily reworked Panigale V4 R. A Round Four crash at Road America derailed his campaign and left him with significant shoulder injuries. He returned at COTA in emphatic fashion, grabbing pole and charging to his first win of the season, and his first aboard the Ducati. Another pole followed to close out the year at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

“The 2026 season didn’t go the way I hoped due to the injury, but I’m happy I was able to finish out the year with a win, a podium, and more seat time on the Ducati,” Beaubier said. “I’m really looking forward to coming back for some redemption with them in 2027.”

Team Principal Bobby Shek is chasing the squad’s second Superbike crown after Josh Herrin’s 2023 title. “Bringing these two riders together gives us a strong foundation for our 2027 Superbike program, and we’re looking forward to getting to work,” Shek said.
