Earlier this year at UFC 329, Conor McGregor made his much-awaited MMA return. Facing off against Max Holloway, McGregor sustained a serious ACL injury, which ruled him out of the fight. Having undergone surgery and recovering from it, McGregor recently opened up about how his family motivates him to come back.
A few months ago, he shared a warm message for his wife, Dee Devlin, sharing a glimpse into his personal life. Now, months later, he has uploaded another wholesome post highlighting his family and children motivate him in his career.
“I’ve got my own goals. But I do this for the people I love, too. I want them to feel it in how I show up for them, not just see it in what I achieve. Whoever your people are, give them something real today. Your time. Your attention. Do one thing that makes their day better. Back yourself. Do the work. For them,” McGregor wrote.

Although expected to make his UFC comeback in 2027, he only has one fight left in his contract, following which he is expected to jump careers and join BKFC as a potential bare-knuckle fighter, although no official confirmation has emerged about it.
Conor McGregor can’t wait to exit UFC
Last month, McGregor opened up on his Instagram Stories about his excitement to leave the UFC. However, shortly after, he deleted the post. “Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is unstoppable at the moment. What a few months we’ve had. God bless true fighting. I can’t wait to do it, one more to go. One more to go, and the Mac Daddy is free,” McGregor said in the soon deleted post.
