The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) Scholarship 2027 is now open to eligible international students who wish to pursue a fully funded Master’s degree in Thailand.

The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, covering tuition and academic fees, accommodation, airfare, visa expenses, monthly stipends, health insurance and other study-related costs.

Selected scholars will undertake a six-week refresher course followed by a two-year Master’s degree programme at the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute.

About the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Scholarship

The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute is a multidisciplinary postgraduate academic institute established in 2005. It currently offers Master’s degree programmes in areas including Applied Biological Sciences, Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology and Chemical Sciences.

Each year, 15 scholarships are awarded to international applicants based on merit.

Chulabhorn Graduate Institute Scholarship Requirements

To be considered for the 2027 scholarship, applicants must:

• Be an international student.
• Be under 30 years of age.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
• Have an academic background in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences, Medicine, Medical Technology, Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Have experience in scientific laboratory research.
• Demonstrate English proficiency through a recognized test such as TOEFL or IELTS, where applicable.
• Submit a statement of purpose explaining their study interests.

Applicants from English-speaking countries, those who graduated from an international programme, or those whose previous degree was taught entirely in English may be exempt from submitting a standard English language test, subject to the institute’s requirements.
