According to the Mail, Chelsea are not actively looking to sell Pedro Neto this summer, but they would be willing to accept a suitable offer for his services.
However, they would expect a “major fee” for the 26-year-old winger, and their stance is based on the prices being mentioned for other wide attackers on the market – primarily RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande and Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola. The fact that there are five years left on his contract surely plays a part too.
Neto is believed to be of interest to Liverpool and Manchester City. Liverpool were linked with Neto before he moved from Wolves to Chelsea in 2024, and head coach Andoni Iraola recently confirmed his squad is in need of another winger, after signing Victor Munoz from Osasuna. Meanwhile, new City boss Enzo Maresca worked with Neto at Chelsea and preferred the Portugal international as his starting right winger.
Neto is yet to join his teammates in pre-season training as he’s still enjoying a prolonged break after representing his country at the World Cup.
