The 18-year-old has managed to break into AIK’s first team and deserves credit for putting in a few impressive displays for them in the final third last season. Yohanna scored five goals and earned four assists in 12 matches for his current club in the previous campaign in various competitions.

The Nigerian talent is currently one of the most gifted wide players in Allsvenskan. Therefore, the Blues would do well to snap him up in this transfer window.

Yohanna is under contract at AIK until the end of 2029, which could make it difficult for Chelsea to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Chelsea Are Facing Stiff Competition For Yohanna: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Yohanna is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some driving runs with it on the right flank. He can create the odd chance for his teammates to find the back of the net and usually generates some power with his shot attempts.

The Nigerian whizkid deserves credit for adding some goals and assists to his game. However, he is still quite raw and would need time to prove his worth in the Premier League if the Blues manage to get him on board this off-season.

We can expect Yohanna to enhance the quality of Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso’s attack for the long run. He is more than capable of fighting for a regular first-team place at the West London club.

At 18, the future looks quite promising for Yohanna as long as he continues to improve with each season. However, Alonso has to be patient with his progress before he can get the best out of the gifted wide player at Stamford Bridge. With all things considered, Yohanna is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future, so Chelsea should step up their efforts to land him.
