After the Aces dealt the Sparks their fifth loss this season, Brink and Smith got into an altercation as they were already walking towards the tunnel as a result of what had boiled over from their on-court clashes.
For most of the game, Brink and Smith have been going at each other’s throats, positioning themselves under the basket and fighting for any loose balls, rebounds, and second-chance opportunities.
The level of intensity among the two competitors has reached its boiling point with just a minute and 40 seconds remaining in the game, resulting in both of them receiving technical fouls after their verbal exchange.
Talking to the press after the game, Brink was asked about her back-and-forth with Smith on the court.
“I mean, what do you want me to say? It’s a physical game. I’m not afraid of anybody. That’s all I’m gonna say. I’m not afraid of anybody,” Cameron Brink said, as per Justin Russo.

It wasn’t the first time that Brink and Smith got into a heated contest this season, as the LA Sparks forward suffered a nose injury in their game back in May 23 after Smith caught her face with a stray arm while jostling for position under the rim.
In the end, Brink’s intensity was simply not enough to overcome the defending champions in their rematch this season.
Following the altercation between Cameron Brink and NaLyssa Smith in their second encounter this season, a lot of people have been wondering what has been said between the two the moment they were going at it under the basket.
Luckily for the fans, the microphones on the court captured a bit of Brink’s outrage.
In a video shared by @zavanchy on X, Brink was caught saying, “Get off me! Get the f**k off me!,” which led to Brink and Smith getting t’d up.

With Brink and Smith getting slapped by a technical foul in this game, they are set to pay the WNBA a $500 fine according to the rules, where a player pays a $500 fine for each of their first three technical fouls before it gets raised to $1,000 from fourth to sevent technical fouls.
