Bryson DeChambeau finished in a tie for third at LIV Golf Indianapolis on Sunday.
DeChambeau would have loved to finish the 2026 LIV Golf season with his third win of the year, but it wasn’t to be.
As things stand, the two-time major champion faces an extremely uncertain future with LIV.
Bryson DeChambeau‘s current contract with LIV Golf will expire at the end of the current season.
And with LIV no longer having the financial support of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, it is unclear as to whether the two-time US Open champion will sign a new contract with the league.
However, it has been suggested recently that DeChambeau is keen to continue playing on LIV Golf.
Bryson DeChambeau makes statement on LIV Golf’s future
DeChambeau spoke to reporters after the final round in Indianapolis on Sunday evening.
He responded when asked whether he is confident about LIV Golf’s future.
“I think there’s a lot of potential moving forward,“ DeChambeau insisted.
“It’s been an interesting ride, that’s for sure. You know just as much as I have everything that we’ve gone through and the tough moments that we’ve had. But it’s made us stronger.
“As much as we’re transitioning from LIV 1.0 to 2.0, I have great thoughts about what could happen next year. I wish I could be more up front about it. But ultimately I’m proud of the fact of what we’ve done, the good and some of the bad that we’ve unfortunately had, things that have occurred.
“I’m going to be real with it; not everything was perfect. But for the most part we’ve done a solid job. If there’s one thing that I could say, it’s we did something different in the game of golf, and I’m proud of that. I think there’s something fun coming.“

Michael La Sasso won the tournament in the end, but DeChambeau played alongside Jon Rahm on Sunday, and it looked like the Spaniard would triumph at The Club at Chatham Hills.
“Yeah, I played good today,“ DeChambeau said.
“I kept the ball in front of me for the most part and didn’t make too many mistakes. I was proud of the way I fought, and I started to catch some momentum on that back nine. Just the putts didn’t drop today, and that’s golf. It’s a game of inches.
“Unfortunately today just didn’t go my way. I don’t feel like I left anything out there other than maybe hitting it a little harder and a bounce go my way on the last hole.
“But for the most part it was some brilliant play by Jon today. He’s an incredible golfer, and really impressed with how he’s come back. I played with him the first round and he shot 3-under and didn’t look like much, and for him to go and be at 17-under at the end of this is pretty impressive.“
