The Browns had yet another game-winning drive against the Titans last week, their fifth to correspond with five victories — to improve to 5-2 on the season. Week-to-week, fan confidence increased by 3 percentage points up to 88%, a new season high again. If Cleveland can sweep the Steelers this week, that percentage might shoot up into the 90s. By comparison, 70% of Steelers fans are confident in the direction of their team.

Besides the confidence meter, the main question we asked this week was focused on what fans felt about the Browns’ offensive outburst last week. Was it a sign that they’ve turned the corner? A fluke? Overall, 51%
said that the offense was nice, but attributed much of it to the Titans just sucking. 47% of fans think the offense had indeed turned a corner, while only 2% think it was just a fluke what happened last week. One fan thinks Todd Monken is opening up the offense, but needs to keep at it and break some more tendencies:
I feel like Monken is opening up the offense. I think he was going tight too often. I love TIGHT formations, but with a young line and mediocre FB/blocking TEs, I question the fetish.
I hope they just dont’ settle. mix it up. go tight every now and then. make the defense rotate their personnel, and just smash them when we have a mismatch.
I just hate going TIGHT, after TIGHT, after TIGHT. the defense just gets bigger, bigger and bigger. I keep saying. the defense has the advantage, and if we’re predictable getting even 2 yards into their territory is tough. speed is key. SPREAD EM WIDE!!
Corley and Wallace are said to be blocking well. let’s not be too predictable. they have speed too. get them out in space, especially when PIT (or anyone else) isn’t looking for it. 1 target for the whole year on 116 snaps. that’s just not right.

Another fan thinks it’s really a combination of things coming together:
I think it’s a combination of the Titans suck and we are finding a groove. The offense is going to to get better. You have a lot of young guys out there and a new O-line that is starting to play better together. There are going to be bumps in the road, but this team is improving.
On a national scale, fans were asked who the best team in the AFC is, and the Browns actually received 5% of the vote. Don’t shoot the messenger.

According to FanDuel, the Browns are 3.5 point underdogs against the Steelers this week, with the over/under being 39.5.
