Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show a few days after the event, Lesnar revealed that the match with Obsma Femi in his home state of Minnesota was the final in his career.
“I’m here today to do this interview to let the world and everybody know that I am retired, and I wanted to say a big thank you to everybody. Saturday was a very emotional day for me,” Lesnar said.
Lesnar further revealed that he first considered quitting his job after the Lagos-born wrestler defeated him at WrestleMania 42.
“When Oba Femi slammed me at WrestleMania, I was like, ‘I can’t do this again,'” Lesnar said.
He dded that he returned for the SummerSlam clash because he “still had some fuel left in the tank.”
Reaffirming his decision, Lesnar told McAfee: “That’s it for me inside the squared circle, and for everything else too.”
