The New York Knicks are officially the 2026 NBA champions, ending a 53-year title drought.
A host of New York sports stars were in attendance for the Knicks’ championship-clinching victory in Game 5. New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart was among them, accompanied by Jets superstar running back Breece Hall.
The star running back was recently asked about his experience at the game. Hall said he became well acquainted with Dart.

“Most of the fans in the arena were Knicks fans anyway. I had a suite with some of my boys,” he said. “I got to chill with Jaxson Dart, so he and I got really well acquainted, and now we are really cool. Super cool dude. We were there just as fans of another New York team, cheering the guys on.”
Both Dart and Hall are widely regarded as two of the biggest stars in New York sports. Their budding friendship may come as a surprise to Giants and Jets fans alike, but the players more than likely cross paths regularly, given that both teams call MetLife Stadium home.
Each will play an essential role for his respective team in 2026. While the Giants will not face the Jets in the regular season until 2027, the duo is scheduled to meet in the preseason during Week 3 in August.
