Bijan Robinson snags one-handed catch, jukes multiple Steelers

The Atlanta Falcons are going through an Any Given Sunday type of situation, as they’re down to their third-string quarterback in just the first game of the season.

To make matters even worse, veteran Cooper Rush suffered back spasms on Saturday that raised questions about just how well he can possibly perform against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The backup plan for the Falcons’ offense is obvious: Just Beej It – and that’s exactly what they’re doing early on in Pittsburgh. Watch superstar running back Bijan Robinson make a slick one-handed catch on an off-target throw by Rush, then juke several Steelers defenders en route to a seven-yard gain on what should have been a loss.

Entertaining as every touch for Robinson is, the rest of the offense has yet to get off the bus, so to speak. Rush is 3/5 for just 17 yards and Robinson’s catch and run is his longest completion so far.

The Steelers lead 3-0 with five minutes to go in the first quarter.
