Berlin Brothersvalley's Coral Prosser announces college commitment

Berlin Brothersvalley senior Coral Prosser is headed to George Washington to continue her basketball after verbally committing on X, Tuesday, July 28.

Thank you to Coach Jamal, Coach T, Coach Tom and the rest of the SLAAM coaches and teammates for always pushing me to become a better player. And especially thank you to my parents, Pace, Bryn and my entire family for making so many sacrifices to give me this amazing opportunity.”

Berlin girls headline ’25-26 Daily American Basketball All-Star Team

Prosser chose George Washington over 33 other Division I programs, including Air Force Academy, Appalachian State, Boston University, Bowling Green State, Cleveland State, Coastal Carolina, Colgate, Columbia, Dayton, Delaware, Drexel, Duquesne, East Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Fairfield, Florida Atlantic, Harvard, Iona, Kent State, La Salle, Lipscomb, Mercyhurst, Manhattan, Marist, Massachusetts, Monmouth, Rhode Island, Robert Morris, Sacred Heart, St. Joseph’s, Texas A&M, Toledo and Yale. She will play for coach Ganiyat Adeduntan. The Revolutionaries finished 18-18 and went 7-11 in the Atlantic 10 in 2025-26

She earned national recognition by ESPN. Prosser ranks No. 87 on the SportsCenter NEXT Top 100 list for the class of 2027. Prosser has a 4-star, 91 overall grade. She garnered her third straight Pennsylvania Sports Writers all-state honor this past season. It was her second straight first-team selection.

Prosser helped the Mountaineers capture their second straight PIAA 2A basketball championship as a junior. She averaged a double-double with 20.7 points and 10.1 rebounds to go along with 4.4 assists, 3.5 steals per contest. She also had 30 blocked shots. Prosser surpassed 1,000 career points as a sophomore.

Berlin Brothersvalley has claimed three straight Inter-County Conference and four straight District 5 basketball titles.

Prosser is also a 2-time all-state softball honoree, helping the Mountaineers to back-to-back District 5-1A championships and a PIAA 1A semifinal appearance as a junior.

Coral is the next Prosser in line to play basketball collegiately. Her parents, Tanner and Rachel both played at Grove City College. Prosser’s brother, Pace, played two seasons at Gannon University, capturing a Division II National Championship in 2026, before transferring to Division I Siena University for his junior campaign. Sister, Bryn already owns a pair of Division I offers entering her junior season.
