Bengals think Ja'Marr Chase hasn't hit peak just yet

Here’s a fun one for Cincinnati Bengals fans:

Some around the team think Ja’Marr Chase isn’t done growing.

Literally and figuratively, either.

Various trainers around the Bengals and otherwise think that Chase has yet to really even hit his physical peak.

“I think he has probably another two, three years before he gets to peak physical shape of what he can be,” trainer Mo Wells told Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. “I think when he’s closer to 28, 29, 30.”

Considering Chase’s stunning build and athleticism that makes him more like a running back with the ball in his hands, it’s a pretty shocking thing to hear.

Ditto, by the way, for his on-field accomplishments so far, which include, but are certainly not limited to, that Triple Crown campaign.

From the sounds of the writeup, Chase is a 24/7/365 training sort of guy, which has been shown time and again with how he’s shown up always conditioned and ready. So, maybe there’s some truth to this type of talk about Chase, making it not just the usual offseason positive chatter.
