There, Bengals safety Daijahn Anthony appeared to briefly suffer some sort of setback during drills. He worked with trainers, got taped up and eventually returned, according to Local 12’s Yanni Tragellis.
It’s a small note, but a key offseason for Anthony, who finds himself in a serious battle on the back end of the depth chart after the arrivals of Bryan Cook and Kyler Dugger.
As for Howell, he’s been getting some interesting looks as a linebacker in subpackages and appears headed for a meaningful role as a rookie.
While a formality, the Bengals now have the entire draft class under contract.
