Bears announce roster moves before training camp

The Chicago Bears have announced a couple of roster moves on report day for training camp, which included star defensive end Montez Sweat.

Sweat was placed on the non-football illness list on Tuesday while safety Elijah Hicks was placed on the physically unable to perform list.

The Bears previously placed linebacker T.J. Edwards on the non-football injury list while cornerback Kyler Gordon, offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo, defensive tackle Shemar Turner and linebackers Noah Sewell and Keyshaun Elliott all landed on the physically unable to perform list.
